School Uniform

Uniform can be purchased from our PTFA who now use Thomas Moore as their supplier. Order forms are available from school reception, downloadable or you can send a message to the PTFA through okehamptonprimaryptfa@yahoo.com or our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/share/qZCNtP1GHekcUHEE/

Uniform is also available at local establishments (Schoolwear Direct), for the latest details, please contact the school office on 01837 52866 or through the email address above.

Preloved sales take place at the end of the school day every Monday, weather permitting!

The PTFA is happy to accept donations of outgrown items, as long as they are in good condition.

We also have a clothing bank where people can donate clothing, shoes, bags, etc., but NOT items with logos.

These can be donated for recycling but are taken elsewhere.

Please note:

Unsuitable items of dress, such as crop tops and clothing with inappropriate slogans, are not considered to be suitable for school and should not be worn.

  • Black shoes should be comfortable, low-heeled and strong enough to withstand a hectic and active school day. Children can also wear black trainers.
  • The wearing of jewellery, other than sleeper/stud earrings or jewellery worn for religious reasons, is forbidden as is the wearing of make-up, nail varnish or coloured hair dyes.
  • Parents are also requested to supply their child with a painting apron or old adult shirt for artwork or other messy activities.

 P.E. Uniform

Children may now wear their PE uniform to school for the entire day, as we no longer require them to change into PE kit during school hours.

  • Hoodies: Hoodies should not be worn indoors. If a pupil wishes to wear a PE hoodie during PE lessons, it must be brought to school in a bag.
  • Warm Clothing: Please ensure your child has something warm for outdoor activities in winter.
  • Safety: For indoor gymnastics, children will normally work in bare feet. No child will be allowed on apparatus unless suitably dressed.
  • Jewellery: Sleeper or stud earrings must be removed or covered with tape for PE lessons.

If children are asked to bring PE items for special occasions (e.g., after-school photos), they must bring a named bag for their kit.

Due to limited cloakroom space, please avoid bulky backpacks or sports bags.
